Ibrahim Mohammed: Meet 17-year-old defender taking Divison by storm

Ibrahim Mohammed is the rising star and the most promising player who has caught the attention of many in the National Division One League.

Mohammed is a center-back who plays for Northern City. At age 17 is has already been named the fourth captain of the team, highlighting his leadership qualities.

He earned the leadership role as a reward for his magnificent performance during the club’s qualification to Division One.

He ticks the boxes of a modern-day center halve. He has superior aerial ability, great composure, good decision-making, and above all incredible passing ability that sees him play as a midfielder sometimes.

This season has played 10 matches and won one man-of-the-match award, which came in a league game against Victory Club Warriors.

Mohammed is an Academy graduate who has been with Northern City for three years running.

He attracted moves from some Ghana Premier League side but none of the interest was substantial as he stayed with the lower-tier side.
