Head Coach for Real Tamale United, Abdul Mumin Abdulai says his outfit will not be relegated.
The Tamale-based club is currently 17th on the league log with 14 points after 15 games while conceding 27 goals in that period.
Already, the one-time winners of the Division One League have been earmarked as one of the candidates for relegation this season.
Losing 1-0 to Asante Kotoko in match day 16 of the Ghana Premier League, Abdul Mumin Abdulai says it is too early a conversation about his team dropping to the Division One League.
“I think it is early days yet. When you consider the league log, the points are just on one another. We still have two home matches before the end of the first round. If we are able to put things in order, I think we will come out of that drop zone.” He said.
He added that goal scoring is an issue for his team this season but going into the transfer window, new players will be signed to help in the striking department.
“We need to get some other players to complement the effort of those players. We have a young team so the immaturity is what is affecting our play so we go in for more players.” He added.
RTU will play their next game against Accra Great Olympics at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium.
