The Black Stars will face Namibia in a friendly during their preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
According to sports journalist Fentuo Tahiru, the friendly forms part of Black Stars’s camping in Kumasi, which was announced by the FA in a statement released on their website.
At the moment, the GFA is yet to confirm the news after canceling the initial scheduled friendly against Botswana.
Namibia will camp in Ghana in preparation for Africa’s flagship tournament which has fuel the rumours of them facing Black Stars in a friendly.
They arrived in Ghana on Thursday, December 29, 2023 to begin their preparations. Whereas Black Stars camping is scheduled to begin on January 2,2024.
Ghana will be hoping to end their 41-year AFCON title drought in Ivory Coast in 2024.
Ghana will begin their AFCON quest in Group B where they have been paired with Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
