Former Right to Dream defender, Clinton Antwi has declared his readiness to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
The 24-year-old currently plies his trade for Finnish side, FC KuPS. He joined the club in January 2022 after ending his loan spell with Danish 1st Division club Esbjerg fB.
Antwi shined during his time with Right to Dream Academy before moving to Denmark to sign for Nordsjælland.
“Of course, every footballer in Ghana wants to play for the Black Stars. I will say I am ready because I am performing at the club side and am doing my best. I’ve been playing week in and week out. I believe that when I get the call-up I can add something to the team,” Antwi stated while speaking in an interview with Mothers FM on Thursday.
“My only motive for playing for a team is to help the team to win. If there’s anything I can do to help the team then why not,” said the experienced left-back.
Clinton Antwi helped FC KuPS to qualify for the preliminary round of this season’s UEFA Conference League after lifting the Finnish Cup.
