Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities drew 1-1 with Namibia’s men senior national team in a friendly game this morning.
Namibia are currently having their training camp in Ghana ahead of Africa’s most prestigious to be staged in Ivory Coast this month. The Brave Warriors of Namibia are in Group E alongside Tunisia, Mali and South Africa.
The game ended goalless in the first half. However, Legon Cities took the lead in the second half kind courtesy a goal from Kwabena Boateng on the 60th-minute mark. The Royals could not hold on to the lead after Namibia equalized in the 90th minute.
Namibia will play against the Black Stars of Ghana on 8th January before leaving for Ivory Coast.
