Real Tamale United were 1-0 victors over defending champions Medeama Sporting Club at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale during a Ghana Premier League outstanding game (Match week 13).
The host started the game on a high note creating enough chances. The deadlock of the game was broken on the 9th minute when Fuseini Mustapha scored to give RTU the winner.
The win for Real Tamale United means they have ended their five games losing run. It also moves them from the relegation zone as they now have 17 points and occupy the 14th position.
Medeama move from 10th to 11th with 21 points. However, they have three outstanding games to play.
