Athletic Club striker Inaki Williams joined the Black Stars squad for preparations ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
In a video shared by the official Twitter handle of the Black Stars, the forward was spotted happily changing pleasantries with the players following his arrival at the team hotel.
According to reports, Inaki landed in Ghana on Thursday, January 4, before joining the squad at the camp base in Kumasi on Friday.
The striker was initially doubtful for the tournament after Athletic Club announced that he needed rest after suffering a mild illness. But has recovered in time to be available.
His arrival means 26 out of 27-man squads named by head coach Chris Hughton have arrived with the excerpt of Mohammed Kudus.
The Black Stars will face Namibia in a friendly on January 8 before traveling to Abidjan two days later.
Ghana will be looking to end their 42-year trophy drought as they will begin the competition in Group B, where they have been paired with Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
