Head Coach for the Black Princesses of Ghana, Yusif Bassigi is optimistic of Ghana’s qualification to the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
Ghana will have to beat Senegal on 13th January 2024 in order to qualify for the tournament.
Ghana have qualified to the tournament since 2010 which gives hope to Yusif Bassigi ahead of their clash with Senegal. He says he is under no pressure.
“There is no pressure on me knowing the team has made it to the World Cup since 2010. It motivates me to rather do better because I was one of the coaches who qualified the team for the U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2018.
I am looking forward to qualifying the team for another World Cup and it is going to be a record.” He said.
