Defending champions of the Ghana Premier League, Medeama Sporting Club were 1-0 victors over visitors Accra Great Olympics in Tarkwa.
The game was an outstanding match week 12 match but was postponed due to Medeama’s participation in the CAF Champions League.
Firts choice goalkeeper of Medeama, Felix Kyei was in the post while Kofi Asmah, Emmanuel Cudjoe and Baba Musah Abdulai played in the defence. Nana Kofi Babil, Derrick Fordjour and striker Joshua Agyemang led the front-liners for the Yellow and Mauve.
Kamaradini Mahamudu scored the only goal of the game to give Medeama all three points in the 31st minute through a header.
The win catapults Medeama to the 8th position with 24 points. Great Olympics on the other hand have lost at the Akoon Park on two consecutive occasions and are 11th with 21 points.
