Defending champions of the Ghana Premier League, Medeama Sporting Club will lock horns with Accra Great Olympics today at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
The game originally scheduled to be played on match week 12 of the Ghana Premier League was postponed due to Medeama’s participation in the CAF Champions League.
Medeama currently occupy the 10th position with 21 points after 14 games. Accra Great Olympics are behind the Yellow and Mauve with the same points as their opponent having played two more games.
The “Oly Dade” boys have only won a game in their last five in the Ghana Premier League. The victory came against RTU in their last game. They have lost two and drawn two. However, they have not lost a game in their last three matches in the GPL.
In the Ghana Premier League, Medeama have also won a game in their last five. They have lost three and drawn one.
In the last five meeting between both sides, Medeama have emerged out as victors twice while Olympics too have won twice. One game has ended in a draw.
A win for any of the sides will push them up on the table.
