Ghana Black Stars player, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku says he believes the Black Stars will perform well in the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The Leicester City winger opted out of the Black Stars squad for the prestigious tournament to secure a permanent deal at Leicester City from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.
He has however, wished his teammates well in their quest to clinch the AFCON trophy for the fifth time.
“The best nation in the world good luck to the team I know what you do I have no doubt in the team 💪🏿supporting you guys with all my heart ❤️ and soul go blackstar.” He wrote on X.
Ghana will play against Cape Verde on Sunday then later battle it out with Egypt and Mozambique.
