The Black Princesses of Ghana have a foot already in the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after cruising to victory against Senegal.
Ghana beat Senegal 2-0 in the first-leg encounter of the final round of qualifiers when they clashed at the Thies Stade Lat Dior in Senegal on Saturday 13th January 2024.
The Black Princesses dominated the first department of the game and secured all three points early in the game. Ghanaian forward, Tracy Twum struck in the 5th minute to give Ghana the lead.
Tracy didn’t miss the second opportunity to score in the 8th minute to give Ghana a two-goal lead. Senegal later took charge of the game but it was not enough to get them any points.
The Black Princesses will host the second leg of the tie on Sunday, 21st January at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.
