Black Stars forward, Jordan Ayew believes lack of concentration from the players is the cause of Ghana’s loss to Cape Verde
Ghana lost 2-1 to Cape Verde at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in the first round of games of Group B. The Black Stars are now bottom of the Group.
Speaking after the game, the player deployed on the wings for Ghana says the two goals scored by Cape Verde could have been avoided if the players were alert. He revealed he is disappointed because the team lost.
“I’m disappointed because I think we had the game in our hands. We always lack concentration of which our moment, scored two sloppy goals. As a team, we need to back up quickly because we can’t always say that it’s a young team. we’ve been together for two years and obviously is a tough night for us.” He said.
Ghana will play Egypt in their next game while Cape Verde take on Mozambique.
