Former Asante Kotoko defender, Rashid Sumaila, has disclosed that he has intentions of completing his career in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking to ghanasportspage.com, he revealed that he would like to play for one of his former clubs, Ebusua Dwarfs or Asante Kotoko, before he retires.
“I started in Ghana, and of course, I would want to end it here, give back and play for them. I have two clubs. I played for Great Astronomers at Colts, I played Venomous Vipers, I played Ebusua Dwarfs and Asante Kotoko before moving outside. So let’s say if I want to return, I will play for Ebusua Dwarfs or Asante Kotoko.” He told the authoritative Ghanaian website, ghanasportspage.com.
The former Black Stars defender confirmed that he is in Ghana and currently trains with his newly formed Division 3 side.
“We’ve established a lower tier side high I’m always training with them in Cape Coast.”
