Black Stars defender, Daniel Amartey has deleted all Black Stars related pictures on his Instagram.
At the moment, the reason for the deletion of the pictures is unknown.
the Besiktas defender is yet to feature for Ghana at the ongoing 2023 AFCON, missing the first two games.
In his absence Ghana have conceded four goals in two games with a defensive pair of Alexander Djiku and Mohammed Salifu.
Amartey has not featured for Ghana since November 2023 where he played 63 minutes in Ghana’s 1-0 win over Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Black Stars face yet another group stage exit and will need a win against Mozambique on January 22, 2024 to progress to the round of 16.
A win could put them at second place or third place depending on the results from Cape Verde and Egypt game.
If they finish thirds place, they could qualify as one of the best four third place teams.
Ghana have a point after two games with Cape Verde leading the group with 6 points, followed by Egypt with 2. Mozambique are at the bottom with 1 point.
