Head Coach for the Black Stars of Ghana, Chris Hughton has revealed the team is ready to take on Mozambique in the last round of matches in Group B.
Ghana need a good win against the Mambas of Mozambique at the Alassane Quattara stadium in Abidjan in order to book their ticket to the round of 16 at the ongoing AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast.
Ghana are winless in the tournament so far after losing to Cape Verde and getting a point against Egypt. Speaking ahead of all-important clash, gaffer for Ghana Chris Hughton says the players are motivated for the clash.
“The players know what it will take to get a result. There are no easy games in this tournament,” he said. “We have to be physically and mentally prepared for this.” He said.
Ghana are currently third in Group B with just a point. The time for the game is 8PM(G.M.T) on Monday 22nd January 2024.
