Ghanaian attacker, Bernard Tekpetey has won the Bulgarian Super Cup with Ludogorets after beating CSKA Sofia on Saturday afternoon.
Tekpetey was in action for 69 minutes before he was replaced by Brazil forward Ryan Cruz.
The clash had to be settled from the spot after the match after playing out a 1-1 draw.
Lidogorets took the lead from the spot through Olivier Verdon in the tenth minute of the game before Nedeljko Piscevic levelled for CSKA Sofia in the second half.
It had initially been a cagey affair – with Lidogorets dominating possession but offering little in attack. However, the match went to penalties after CSKA Sofia fought back to level.
The shootout had 5 penalty kicks each, with Lidogorets finally winning the contest 4-2. Olivier Verdon scored the winning penalty for the Eagles to lift their seventh Super Cup title.
