The second round of the Ghana Premier League 2023/24 season will resume on Saturday, February 24, 2024, when Heart of Lions FC will welcome Asante Kotoko at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
The topflight league competition went on a one-month break after the first round of the season on December 31, 2023.
Bottom-placed Heart of Lions will mark the return to their favorite Kpando Stadium grounds with the clash against Asante Kotoko SC, who are currently third placed on the league table.
FC Samartex 1996 who were leading the league table before the break, will travel to Dormaa on Matchweek 18 on Monday, February 26,2024 when they come up against second-placed Aduana FC.
Five matches will be played on Sunday, February 25, 2024 including the regional derby between Bechem United and Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
Other matches will see Bofoakwa Tano FC host Great Olympics in Sunyani, Bibiani GoldStars against Berekum Chelsea and Karela United FC vs Legon Cities FC at the Naa Sherigu Sports Centre in Nalerigu.
Matches involving Medeama SC and Dreams FC have been rescheduled due to their CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup matches on Friday, February 23, 2024 and Sunday, February 25, 2024 respectively.
