Accra Hearts of Oak Technical Director,  Rene Hiddink has set a date to return to Ghana and continue his job.

hearts of Oak technical director left the shores of Ghana for Europe and is set to return to duty on Sunday, 18th February 2024. Ghanasportspage.com can confirm.

The Phobians Director went on holiday in Europe, and he is to return on duty as the second round of the Ghana Premier League is yet to resume next weekend.

His vast knowledge of the game is expected to have a positive impact in the nd round of the league not only on the senior team but also on the Auroras, Royal Oaks, and the women’s team, fostering coordination and development across all levels.

The club recently appointed new members to strengthen the technical team. The new technical team also includes  Delali Anku-Adiamah as the Managing Director, and a new coach Aboubakar Ouattara to bolster the team’s performance. Jerry Adjei Asare has maintained as the goalkeeper’s trainer, while former player Sebastian Barns also keeps his role as head of the Scouts.

As part of their commitment to player welfare, Hearts of Oak has not changed Carlos Klu as the welfare officer. Furthermore, Mercy Tagoe still leads the Hearts of Oak female team as their head coach, demonstrating the club’s dedication to promoting women’s football.

According to our source, Rene Hiddink rebuked the allegations claiming he has quit his job at Hearts of Oak. According to ghanasportspage.com the technical director has not resigned as claimed by some local media reports that, the technical director has resigned because the board of the club failed to accept the coach he[Rene] recommended.
