Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Glid Otanga is set to return to training after recovering from illness.
Congolese has been out for 7 seven days after contracting malaria.
Ghanasportsage.com understands that the player has made a full recovery and will resume training on Monday.
The player will, therefore, train under new manager Aboubakar Ouattara for the first time on Monday.
Aboubakar Ouattara was appointed as Hearts’ new head coach a few days ago.
He is leading the team’s resurgence in the second round of the 2023/2024 GPL season.
The 2023/2024 GPL campaign is currently on break and will resume on February 25.
Hearts of Oak, who had a poor first round, will begin the second lap of the season at home playing against Real Tamale United.
