Former U-20 World Cup winner and Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has identified the type of coach the Black Stars need.
The four-time African champions are currently without a coach following Chris Hughton’s exit after Ghana’s abysmal performance at the AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA), led by President Kurt Okraku, now in its fifth year, will hire the sixth coach after the last five failed to work.
Badu, a former U-20 World Cup winner speaking about the current state of the national team disclosed the need to have a coach who is very to lead the Black Stars.
“The current Black Stars need a coach who is very bold, a coach who can control the boys and also good in leadership.
“This is the reason why I like Otto Addo and we need a coach like that. You could see that he was able to control the players and you need a coach like that in this generation. You need a coach who is very bold in this decision making, a coach who can bring discipline and commitment in camp,” Agyeman Badu stated on Utv.
