Bank roller for Ghana Premier League side Medeama Sporting Club Moses Armah Parker says his outfit is prepared to take on Egyptian giants Al Ahly on Friday.
Medeama will host Al Ahly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the fifth round of games of Group D with the hope of a win which will boost their chances of qualifying to the next round.
The Tarkwa-based side lost 3-0 to Al Ahly in Cairo as the two sides met for the first time. Speaking ahead of the big clash on Friday, Moses Armah Parker says his team is ready for the Egyptians giants who top the group.
“Medeama is also prepared; we are waiting for them. Medeama played a friendly match against Nations FC; we played at the Kumasi Sports Stadium; we beat them 1-0. So, we are done with that friendly match. What remains is the preparations for the match on Friday.” He told Peace FM.
Medeama are bottom in Group D with 4 points. Young Africans and CR Belouzidad are 3rd and 2nd respectively with 5 while Al Ahly top with 6 points.
