Executive Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede, is set to dissolve the board in the Annual General Meeting (AMG).
According to a source close to GhanaSportspage.com, the dissolving of the board is part of Togbe’s plan to give the team a new face.
Ghanasportspage.com understands that the move by Togbe also honors his words.
The National Chapters Committee has already petitioned the board chairman urging him to honor his promise at the next AGM.
“We urge the Board Chairman to go by his word of retiring the already tired moribund Board and appoint fresh ones for renewed energy on the Board.”
The club’s Annual General Meeting is scheduled to take place in March 2024.
