Former Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has completed a move to Berekum Chelsea to become the club’s new manager.
The former Ghana U-20 coach has signed a year’s deal with the Ghana Premie League side as he make his return to the country’s top flight since leaving Hearts in 2022.
Boadu is expected to be officially unveiled ahead of Berekum Chelsea’s home game against Accra Lions on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
The former Medeam manager will replace Christoper Ennin, who resigned from his role.
Samuel Boadu has a good reputation for the successes he chalked with Hearts of Oak and Medeama.
He transformed Medeama into becoming a title contender before moving to Hearts where he won the League once and the FA Cup twice.
Berekum Chelsea are currently sixth on the league table with 30 points and will be hoping to finish in the top four following the appointment of Samuel Boadu.
