Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has stated that he has made to changes in the team since taking over.
According to the manager, he has instilled discipline, which he believes is a fundamental element that fosters improvement.
He said the second chance he has made is to reduce the squad size from 30 to 25 players.
“We need discipline because I’m life, and every you do, discipline is the basic. That’s the first thing.” He told StarTimes Adepa TV before their game against Bofoakwa Tano on Monday l.
“The second thing I reduced the number of players is because 30 players is like factory. I can’t train 30 players. I just need 25 players and hard work and the commitment of the boys who have accepted to do the hard work.”
The former Wydad Casablanca and TP Mazembe technical director was appointed as Hearts new head coach in February 2024.
Since assuming the role, he won two and drew one of his first three matches in charge.
