Ghanaian Bolivia-based goalkeeper David Akologo has reportedly ditched Bolivia to play for the Black Stars.
A report filed by kickgh suggests that Akologo had informed the Bolivian FA about his decision and thus will join Black Stars camp for the international break.
The 27-year was named in Bolivia squad for their upcoming games against Algeria and Andorra and thus begun training with the team at their camp base in Brazil.
While in camp with Bolivia, he was named in Ghana’s 26-man squad announced on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
He is eligible to play for Ghana because he is a Ghanaian born and could play for Bolivia on account of playing in the country since 2020.
Meanwhile, there has not been an official communication on David Akologo’s decision yet.
