Kotoko’s recent woes continued as they succumbed to a fourth consecutive defeat, this time at the hands of Nations FC on Sunday evening.
Asamoah Boateng’s 45th-minute strike settled the game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and consigned Kotoko to another disappointing defeat.
Sunday’s loss continued a torrid run of form for Asante Kotoko, who have now lost five of their las six games in the Ghanaian top-flight.
That run has included two home defeats and three away defeats for the Porcupine Warriors.
Coach Prosper Ogum’s side now find themselves in 9th place on the table after 23 matches, hoping to turn the tide and regain their form.
Nations FC sit second with 40 points – 2 points behind Samartex.
