“The African Games has been exceptional. It’s been an opportunity for Ghana to showcase ourselves and what is good about Africa. The culture, the unity, the tenacity, the determination and the spirit of ubuntu all came to show so I am excited and thankful.”
“A lot of International Jurnalists were impressed with the facilities and of course the famous Ghanaian hospitality was our best ambassador. The plan and the facilities have showcased Ghana to the international community and I think that we have presented ourselves in a fantastic way. We showed that Ghana can do it and the international community knows that we can do it. We can successfully host another games in future so this is the best advertisement for Ghana going forward.
“What I want to say is a big thank you to Ghanaians. We wouldn’t have achieved this without your support.
“We appreciate the valid criticisms. The critique that came at the beginning of the games shaped us, it helped us to raise the bar and the supports was just amazing. The African games came because of Ghanaians. We at the LOC will thank the government of Ghana and his H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and Africa. You made the games successful. AYEKOO, said Ibrahim Adjei.
