Asante Kotoko aims to return to winning ways after back-to-back home defeats when we welcome Nsoatreman Football Club to the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday evening.
They go into matchday 25 after picking up a point on the road against Bechem United last Saturday, ending their losing streak.
The team returned to Adako Jachie training base on Monday morning with several familiar faces who had missed the last few games joining the squad as they prepared for the fixture against Nsoatreman.
Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and the technical staff are continuously working hard to get their squad mentally prepared and perfectly focused for the remainder of the season.
The Porcupines were stunned by Nsoatreman in a 1-0 defeat through a controversial goal and an undeserved red card to our centre-back Henry Ansu when referee Maxwell Hanson took charge in the reverse fixture at Nsoatre.
In February, the Porcupine Warriors recorded a victory over Nsoatreman in what seemed like revenge when they came from a goal down to beat Nsoatreman Football Club 2-1 at Baba Yara Stadium in the J.A. Kufour Cup.
The home form will have to improve to get us back on track after managing just 18 points from 11 games at home, but the visitors after 12 games, have also picked up 11 points on the road this season.
They managed a 2-1 victory over Nsoatreman last season at Baba Yara Stadium in their Premier League season; however, we anticipate a tough battle on Thursday night against our former coach and club legend Maxwell Konadu.
