Heart of Lions coach, Bashir Hayford, delayed the Ghana Premier League match between his side and Bechem United on Saturday in protest of alleged biased officiating by sitting in the middle of the pitch.
The unexpected incident caused a 20-minute delay in play at the Nana Gyeabour Park as both teams battled to a 1-1 draw.
Hayford, leading a team fighting for survival, took a seat on the field in protest of what he believed to be unfair officiating and also several reports state that, he claimed somebody poured water, Stones or urine on him. His bold action was captured and widely circulated on social media.

Despite the interruption, the experienced coach eventually left the field, allowing the game to resume. Despite being reduced to 10 men, Bechem United managed to avoid defeat at home.
A potential victory for Lions would have lifted them out of the relegation zone, but with the draw, they remain second from bottom, facing the looming threat of relegation to the Division One League.
