Abdul Bashiru, the assistant coach of Hearts of Oak, has voiced dissatisfaction with the team’s recent performance in the Ghana Premier League.
After suffering a 1-0 defeat against Accra Lions, marking their fourth loss in five matches, the Phobians find themselves struggling.
Coach Bashiru identified goal scoring as the primary concern, citing a disconnect between training performances and actual match results.
“Our main problem is goal scoring, something we’ve consistently faced. In training, they perform well, but there’s a discrepancy in matches. We need to analyze and rectify this,” expressed the Hearts of Oak assistant coach.
Looking forward to their upcoming match against Berekum Chelsea, he called upon fans to rally behind the team, believing in their capacity to clinch victory with their unwavering support.
“We’re not happy. Fans should trust and support us. We’re capable of securing three points against Chelsea,” asserted Coach Bashiru.
