Former Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, James Nanor has lauded Dreams FC and GFA President Kurt Okraku for the club’s remarkable achievement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Despite suffering a setback in their Africa campaign after failing to edge out Zamalek to reach the finals of the competition, the national Under 18 goalkeepers’ trainer remains proud of the team’s outstanding performance in Africa.
“None of us expected Dreams FC to shine in Africa. I want to thank them for what they did. They are doing very well. God knows the best and I believe that they can continue,” Nanor told Accra-based Mothers FM.
In addition, the member of Hearts of Oak’s Champions League winning team also lauded Kurt Okrakru for redeeming the image of Ghana football.
However, he urged the nation to rally behind the President of the Ghana Football Association.
“The GFA President is also doing well. We have to support him. He has given the young boys the opportunity. As goalkeepers trainer for the national U-18 team, I believe that we can provide good goalkeepers in Ghana”
