Dreams Football Club put up a stellar performance on Wednesday afternoon, securing a vital 2-1 victory against Bechem United in their Ghana Premier League fixture.
Originally scheduled for Week 19, the match was postponed due to Dreams FC’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup. The game was hosted today at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
Dreams FC had a strong start, with Godfred Atuahene scoring in the 10th minute. Bechem United equalized in the 37th minute with a goal from Ebenezer Adu Kwaw Boadi, ending the first half in a 1-1 draw. In the second half, Dede Ishmael netted the decisive goal, securing the win for Dreams FC.
This victory lifts Dreams FC to 35 points, moving them two places clear of the relegation zone.
