The managing director of Hearts of Oak, Delali Adiamah, has expressed optimism that things will change for the club next season after their struggles this campaign.
The Phobians were only three points away from the relegation zone prior to their 3-0 away win against Berekum Chelsea two weeks ago. However, that victory moved them to 11th on the table, now six points clear of the drop zone.
Hearts of Oak had also lost five of their last six games in the league before that fixture.
Speaking on the club’s crisis-ridden season, Adiamah expressed confidence that the team’s fortunes will turn around next season.
“Come next season, I think things will be better. We are not talking about any issues regarding relegation. We are aware of the situation currently and will work to earn more points,” he told Asempa FM. “We are thinking about how to finish this season strongly and how to approach next season.”
Hearts of Oak will next face Aduana FC on the weekend of May 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
