Asante Kotoko has received an injury boost ahead of their Matchday 31 fixture against rivals Hearts of Oak.
The Porcupines’ number one goalkeeper, Frederick Asare, has returned to the Adako Jachie Training Complex after suffering a minor injury during training last week.
The injury sidelined the Black Stars goalkeeper during the club’s recent defeat against Berekum Chelsea, with Moise Pouaty taking over his position at Golden City Park.
However, Asare is expected to reclaim his spot in goal on Sunday as Kotoko hosts Hearts of Oak.
Scheduled for Matchday 31 on Sunday, May 26th, the match will electrify Baba Yara Stadium as the nation’s two most illustrious clubs go head-to-head.
