Heartsore: Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara salutes rivals Asante Kotoko, daunts the Phobians

Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, has congratulated his rivals Asante Kotoko after Sunday’s Super Cup defeat.

The Phobians suffered a 2-0 loss at the Baba Yara Stadium, with Steven Mukwala scoring twice for the Porcupine Warriors during week 31 of the Ghana Premier League.

The defeat leaves the Rainbow Boys in a precarious position, just two points away from relegation.

“That’s the reality of the game,” Ouattara said in an interview with StarTimes. “When you can’t score, you can’t play well, no player is taking the chance, that’s what happens. Kotoko were the better side today, I congratulate them. We played badly once again.”

Hearts of Oak are currently 15th on the league table with 38 points.

They will face Nations FC in another crucial match at home on matchday 32 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
