Berekum Chelsea attacker, Stephen Amankona is the top scorer of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, after a sensational campaign that saw him bag 19 goals in 29 appearances.
The highly-rated forward was a standout player for the Blues throughout the just-ended league campaign, and his impressive goal tally is the highest of any player featured for any of the 18 participating clubs.
Amankona’s 19 goals mean he scored one more than Abenego Tetteh, who scored 18 goals last season to emerge as top scorer. The Berekum Chelsea forward’s impressive form this season saw him score five more than the two players trailing him until the campaign’s end.
