Ittihad Kalba midfield dynamo Zackariah Mohammed expresses readiness for Black Stars call-up

FC Ittihad Kalba midfielder, Zackariah Mohammed has declared his readiness to play for the Black Stars if Coach Otto Addo hands him a call-up.

The Ghanaian international has been one of the best midfielder’s in the UAE Pro League since his arrival.

He bagged 12 goals in 25 games Tigers in the just ended campaign.

Zackariah also helped Ittihad Kalba’s U-21 side to emerge as undisputed champion of the UAE Pro League U-21.




In an interview with Accra-based Mothers FM, the youngster expressed his readiness to feature for the four-time African champions.

“I am ever ready to play whenever the call comes. The important thing is that they will give me a call-up.”

“All the big midfielders in the Black Stars have the qualities. Partey is very exceptional and everybody loves him. Salis is also good but with my quality I think it will be perfect when I partner Partey,” Zackariah declared.

Zackariah Mohammed joined Ittihad Kalba in 2021 and was given an improved two-year contract extension after an impressive debut season.
