Ugandan striker Steven Dese Mukwala is on the cusp of making a big move to Tanzanian giants Simba SC, following the expiration of his contract with Asante Kotoko in Ghana.
According to reports, the 24-year-old forward is set to sign a lucrative three-year deal with the club, which would see him earn a substantial salary of $9,000 per month.
The move is expected to be finalized soon, with Mukwala reportedly receiving a $130,000 sign-on fee as part of the package. The deal would be a significant coup for Simba SC, who are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Mukwala has established himself as a prolific goal-scorer in the Ghana Premier League, netting over 25 goals in 65 appearances for Asante Kotoko since joining the club in 2022.
His impressive form earned him a reputation as one of the top strikers in the league, and he will be looking to continue his goalscoring streak with his new club.
