Enoch Morrison has bid farewell to Asante Kotoko, bringing an end to his two-year stay with the Ghana Premier League club.
The highly-rated midfielder took to social media to announce his departure, expressing his gratitude to the club’s leadership, teammates, coaches, and fans.
In a heartfelt statement, Morrison said it was an “absolute pleasure and an honour” to play for the club, and that he will “forever remain one of” the Porcupine Warriors. He thanked His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the board, management, teammates, coaches, and fans for the opportunity to play for the club.
“It has been an absolute pleasure and an honour to play for this club. I must say i enjoyed each day of my time here and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to his Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the board, management, teammates, the coaches I work with and, of course, to our incredible supporters. I will miss you all but I will forever remain one of you. Thank you all until we meet again,” Enoch Morrison wrote.
Morrison’s departure from Kotoko has sparked interest from several clubs in the Ghana Premier League and beyond, with reports suggesting he is being chased by several teams.
Despite his departure, Morrison reassured fans that he will always be a part of the club’s family.
