Joseph Ablorh, a Ghanaian defender based in Guinea, is on the verge of joining Asante Kotoko during the ongoing transfer window.
The 26-year-old is joining the porcupines as a free agent after completing a successful five-year spell with Guinean giants, Hafia Football Club.
Ablorh’s contract with Hafia came to an end on June 30, 2024, leading to his imminent move to Asante Kotoko. During his time with Hafia, Ablorh played a key role in their campaign in the Guinean top-flight league, helping them secure a 2nd place finish while Milo FC claimed the championship title.
His impressive performances earned him a spot in the team of the season for the Guinea National Championship 2020/2021. Ablorh has been a consistent presence in Hafia’s defense over the past five seasons, showcasing his talent and skills on the field.
As he transitions to Asante Kotoko, Ablorh will bring his experience and defensive prowess to the team as they prepare for the upcoming football season.
In the meantime, Asante Kotoko is gearing up to face Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the match scheduled for 6:00 PM.
