Bofoakwa Tano captain to pen down a 3-year deal for Kotoko

Asante Kotoko has reached an agreement with Bofoakwa Tano to sign forward Saaka Dauda.

Saaka has been on the radar of the Porcupines since the end of the 2023/24 season, during which he impressed for the relegated Bofoakwa.

Final documents have been exchanged between Bofoakwa Tano and Asante Kotoko, and the player will move to Kumasi to undergo his medical examination.

The forward will sign a three-year contract with the porcupines should he pass his medical.

Saaka will become Kotoko’s sixth signing in this transfer window.

Meanwhile, Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak in the inaugural Democracy Cup on Wednesday and will travel to the USA later this year to face MLS side DC United in Washington.
