Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of Saaka Dauda, the 24-year-old captain of Bofoakwa Tano, after a successful medical in Kumasi.

The dynamic midfielder has put pen to paper on a 3-year deal with the Porcupines, becoming the club’s ninth acquisition this transfer window.

Saaka Dauda, a native of Nalerigu, has been a revelation for Bofoakwa Tano, netting 8 goals and providing 3 assists in the Ghana Premier League.

His impressive performance has made him an invaluable asset to the team, and his leadership experience will be crucial in Kotoko’s quest for success.

The midfielder has captained Bofoakwa Tano to a memorable FA Cup final, and is eager to bring that same level of dedication and passion to his new club.

“Joining Asante Kotoko is a dream come true for me,” he said in an interview with the club’s media.

“Having led Bofoakwa Tano to the MTN FA Cup final, I am eager to bring that same level of dedication and passion to this esteemed club. I am here to work extra hard and take the team to the top. I am here to offer the best I can to see the club at the top.”

Saaka Dauda also expressed his excitement about working with Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, whom he regards as a top coach.

“Honestly, it’s a dream come true to be here and to have the opportunity of working with Coach Ogum,” he said.
