Asante Kotoko secures deal with Legon Cities for midfielder Samuel Tenedu

Asante Kotoko has successfully reached an agreement with Legon Cities for the transfer of midfielder Samuel Tenedu, with the deal valued at GHc180,000.

The 21-year-old player caught the eye with his impressive performances in the Ghana Premier League last season, making 30 appearances and helping his team avoid relegation.

Despite interest from other clubs, Asante Kotoko has been determined to secure Tenedu’s signature for the upcoming season. Local transfer expert reports confirm that Legon Cities have finally agreed to the GHc180,000 deal, with the transfer expected to be finalized this week.

Before officially joining Asante Kotoko, Tenedu will undergo a medical examination to ensure his fitness.

If all goes well, the former Ebony FC defensive midfielder is set to sign a three-year deal with the Porcupines.
