The management of Accra Hearts of Oak is poised to make significant changes to the club’s technical team ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 season, following a tumultuous campaign that almost saw the Phobians relegated from the Ghanaian top-flight, according to reports.
Ivorian gaffer Aboubakar Ouattara is expected to continue as the head coach, with Christopher Enin, formerly of Berekum Chelsea, serving as his first deputy and Nana Yaw Amankwah taking up the role of second deputy. Eben Dida, a club legend, will be in charge of the goalkeeping department.
In another significant move, former club captain and defender Yaw Amankwah Mireku will take over as Team Manager.
The legendary duo of Jacob Nettey and Bernard Dong Bortey will lead the club’s youth team, Auroras.
The new technical team will not only focus on transforming the senior side but also oversee the development of the club’s junior teams.
Hearts of Oak is currently in Pobiman, preparing for the upcoming season, with these changes aimed at instilling a fresh approach and bringing success back to the Phobians.
