Medeama SC’s defensive midfielder, Michael Enu, has expressed his team’s readiness to face Asante Kotoko in their highly-anticipated friendly match scheduled to take place on Friday, August 16, 2024.
The match will serve as the official inauguration of the newly constructed TNA Stadium, which boasts a seating capacity of 10,400 and is equipped with modern amenities.
The opening of the TNA Stadium holds great significance for Medeama supporters and the Tarkwa community, and Enu believes that the new stadium will provide an exceptional experience for the fans. Speaking to Medeama’s media team ahead of the game, Enu expressed his team’s unity and preparedness for the match.
“Everyone is cooperating well. We are very united here. From the first day we came here, everything has been going well. We are very happy to be here. Well, the new stadium is very good and it’s very good for the team. The kind of play that we are playing, it will be very good for us to be there,” Enu said.
When asked about the challenge posed by Asante Kotoko, Enu acknowledged that the Porcupine Warriors are a big team and that every team who wants to play against them must prepare well. He assured that Medeama SC is preparing well to meet the challenge.
“Kotoko is a big team. Every team who wants to play with Kotoko have to prepare well, so we are preparing well to meet them,” Enu emphasized.
