Former Eleven Wonders FC CEO Engr. Andrews Fosu Antwi has launched his own football Academy in Techiman called Fosu Soccer Academy [FOSA]
Andrews Fosu together with Nana Afena Nketia II [Twafohene of Techiman] built an innovative model, by creating a safe, modern and efficient space for the holistic development of children in the Techiman Bono East and Ahafo region.
The life patron Nana Afena Nketia II [Twafohene of Techiman] was also a former board chairman of Techiman Eleven Wonders.
The FOSU Soccer Football Academy opens its doors to young people passionate about this sport with the role of building a real academy that discovers, prepares and launches future talents in Ghana football.
The club comes with a new owner, and it is a community-based club with great ambition. The club will still play home games in Techiman.
The new team will include U-13, U-15 and second division. Their ascension into division two means the owner would be ready to pour in more money to support the club’s operations as part of its social responsibility programme.
“I want to promote, through the Football Academy that I am launching, not only sporting excellence but also the fundamental values of discipline, respect, teamwork and fair play. I want every child who steps on our field to leave here not only a better footballer but also a better person. The club president Engr. Andrews Fosu Antwi told ghanasportspage.com
This project represents the culmination of my career, my education and my long-term vision. I want to be, through my involvement, a point of reference in the training of future generations of footballers and to contribute to the development of Ghana football”, says Andrews Fosu Antwi.
