Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have announced a strategic move of their preseason training camp from Pobiman to Asutsuare in the Greater Accra Region as they ramp up preparations for the 2024/25 season.
Following their recent victory over Heart of Lions in a penalty shootout to clinch the 2024 Homowo Cup, the Phobians are intensifying efforts to ensure a strong start to the upcoming campaign.
In an official statement released on Thursday, August 14, 2024, the club confirmed the relocation of their preseason activities to Asutsuare.
“The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC is pleased to bring to the notice of our supporters and stakeholders the latest updates on our preseason plans and activities as we continue to prepare for the 2024-2025 football season.
“On Thursday, the team will shift camp from its Pobiman base to Asutsuare, where they will spend a period of one week. During their time at Asutsuare, the players will focus on team bonding and undergo rigorous training regimes to prepare them for the challenges ahead.
“After completing their training at Asutsuare, Coach Ouattara and the squad will head to Lome, Togo. There, they will engage in friendly matches to fine-tune their skills and teamwork.”
Hearts of Oak are leaving no stone unturned as they aim to build a formidable team capable of competing for silverware in the upcoming season.
