Dispute settled: Ghana U-23 defender S.A Quaye close to joining Hearts of Oak

Former Great Olympics defender Samuel Ashie Quaye is on the brink of completing a move to Hearts of Oak during the ongoing transfer window.

After resolving his contract issues with Great Olympics, Ashie Quaye is scheduled to meet with Hearts of Oak officials today to finalize the transfer. If negotiations go smoothly, medicals and the contract signing are expected to be completed by tomorrow, Tuesday, August 20.

The 23-year-old right-back has been a standout performer, catching the eye with his impressive performances for both the Black Satellites and Black Meteors.

Last season, Ashie Quaye made 25 league appearances for Great Olympics, starting 23 matches and scoring one goal.

Despite his efforts, the team faced relegation, marking their fifth drop into the top flight.
