Good news as Shawkan Mohammed wins case against Accra Lions, he  sets to join Asante Kotoko in Cape Coast

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Player Status Committee has ruled in favor of midfielder Shawkan Mohammed, determining that Accra Lions erred in the unilateral activation of his contract clause. As a result, Shawkan Mohammed is now free to join any club of his choosing.

The dispute began when Accra Lions activated a contract clause they believed extended Shawkan’s stay with the club. However, the Player Status Committee found that the activation did not adhere to the agreed terms and conditions, thereby invalidating the extension.
